Richard M. Dortch, Senior Vice President Application Development: Rick graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1975 with a BSChE degree in Chemical Engineering and received his BS degree in Business Management and Administration from Bradley University. He began his career with Atlantic Richfield as a Process Engineer specializing in computer applications for refinery equipment. Rick received his MBA in Finance from the University of Houston in 1979 and a joined Brown and Root as the Assistant Manager of the Cost Estimating department. There he helped develop a factored estimating system to assist the company in preliminary construction negotiations.
Rick started his own company, Medical Solutions, in 1982. There he developed a Durable Medical Equipment system known as MSS. He grew the company to encompass over 750 clients nationwide and successfully sold the company to Companion Technologies (a subsidiary of Blue Cross / Blue Shield of South Carolina) in 1992. During the ensuing non-compete period in the medical field, he accepted a position as a manager in the IT department of Weatherford International, a two billion-dollar oil field service company where he was responsible for the company's Oracle Applications for the United States.
In 1997, Rick accepted a position with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in their Oracle Applications group. There he was responsible for implementation of Oracle Applications for a variety of large corporations and state and local government offices.
Rick accepted a position in 2002 with Oracle Corporation in their Government, Education, and Healthcare consulting division and was responsible for implementation of Oracle systems throughout the United States for a variety of state and local government entities.
Then in 2003 Rick joined MC AnalyTXs, Inc. as Vice President of Oracle Application Development. He spearheaded the development of the AnalyTXs AllPayor system and has oversight responsibility for corporate system security.
