As senior vice president of application development, Rick Dortch oversees MCA’s corporate system security. Following a long and successful career working with Oracle Applications, Rick joined the company in 2003 as vice president of Oracle Application development. He has spearheaded the development of MCA’s premiere software–the AllPayor System.
Previously, Rick worked for Atlantic Richfield as a process engineer specializing in computer applications for oil refinery equipment. There, he helped develop a factored estimating system to assist the company in preliminary construction negotiations. In 1982, he started his own company, Medical Solutions, developing a durable medical equipment system and growing to more than 750 clients nationwide. Rick successfully sold the company in 1992.
His expertise in Oracle Applications has grown over the years while holding senior roles at Weatherford International, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and with Oracle Corp., where he was responsible for implementation of Oracle systems throughout the United States. Rick holds a BSChE degree in chemical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a bachelor of science in business, management and administration from Bradley University, and an MBA in finance from the University of Houston.
