Gary Ward, PMP, is vice president of client services. With more than 25 years of experience in clinical operations, finance, and information systems management, he manages product implementations, day-to-day data processing, and contract modeling components at MCA.
Gary joined the firm in 2005 after serving as a consultant for high-profile MCA clients.

During his time as a consultant, Gary served as a resource for a variety of health care clients on a range of information systems implementation and management projects that encompassed decision support, financial accounting, cost accounting, and case mix systems.
He got his start as a US Navy hospital corpsman and later worked at Craven County Hospital in the clinical laboratory, at Charleston Area Medical Center as the director of information services, and at Ernst & Young LLP as a principal.

Gary received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York, Albany and completed his MS in information systems from West Virginia College of Graduate Studies. He is a registered medical technologist with the American Medical Technologists, a certified PMP through the Project Management Institute, and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
