Allen Redding, Senior Vice President and Secretary aredding@mcatx.com 

Allen Redding is senior vice president and secretary, responsible for MCA’s audit fieldwork and regulatory compliance. He has extensive experience in health care finance and joined MCA in 1995 following an eight-year career with Houston-based Zebec Data Systems Inc., where he developed software that helped hospitals recoup millions of dollars in lost Medicare payments. At the start of his tenure with MCA, he helped develop the calculation methodology, rate table structure and reporting capability of the company’s claims management system software. 

Allen started out as a Medicare auditor with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. He later joined Lifemark Corp., a large hospital system, where he was responsible for Medicare/Medicaid hospital and home office cost report preparation and government regulation compliance. He also served as manager of reimbursement at The Methodist Hospital in Houston. Allen has been a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association for the past 25 years and is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BBA degree in accounting.
